Special 1st Year Old grand celebration cake ( 2 Tier Buttercream cake ) / Feedback

This was another spectacular moment of the week .. 
we got a surprise call from a mum which wanted a grand cake for 1st year old celebration ( we thought , that's easy :-) 
but to our surprise , Mdm Ruchi wanted us to make a cake , a customized that that was based on the inspiration of her child , Seher 
she insisted for a meeting , and we discussed on the requirement to customized this cake .. 
as this is a very important celebration , more than 100 guest we invited to a very nice resturant in Tanglin Mall .. 
the requirement is to make the cake "messy " but look like the drawing and using only the same colors .. 
we committed to do our best for this cake 

THE PICTURE 

Then I begin the scatch my head , how am i going to make a mess out of this ? i am only good at beautfying the cake but not to mess it .. this was hard for me 

we wanted organized pattern out of this artwork .. hence we decided to deploy the used of strips .. 

here is the out come .. and feedback 

" Hhhiiiiiieeee!!!! V really really liked the cake... & the best part was the creme, blue berry was damn good ..... Thankssss tooooo you. I was really really happy... Plus the cup cakes were a killerrrr of the highest order... I was damnnnn impressed... Cant tel u how happy i m... 

feedback : thomas train 3D in real size , proportion ( cake Singapore)

This happens to be one of our latest attempt to make this wonderful theme for little Clyde , 2nd Birthday 


Though as a first attempt , we are really please ourselves on the results and effect .. 


the proportion was carefully studied , and parts ready , the face is important to prepare in advance .. 
everything's got to look really good for Clyde , though we spend longer , but it was worth it :-)

I attach 2 photos from Roman’s birthday.

Apologies, I couldn’t send more as all the pictures have his friends in it and I don’t know how comfortable the parents are if I send them on to a third party.

Roman, his friends and teachers were all in awe over the cake and one little girl astonishingly pointed out that the white angry bird was missing !!! Everyone loved the cake J

PORSHE 3D Sport car with action figurines , special birthday cake for special Driver , our very local racer , Mr Yuey Tan

Honesty , this is my first "serious" car on 3D car cake project .. Initially we were contacted to do this project based on a certain draft .. featuring a Porshe 3D , a Racer , winner on podium , his girlfriend, Eve  and a camera man , Ken . 




We though hey this is a challenging project , why not ? 


after we accepted the challenge , i began to find out more about the local circuit on Porshe , I am really impressed of the History and achievement of Mr Yuey himself , his popularity , his passion .. 


at this point ,  I must say , we are even more determined to make this cake really good and impressive . 




as we are mainly very good at making Angry Birds and Cartoons for Kids , to make this an impressive series cake does put some good pressure on us :-)

we delivered this to Orchard area on a poolsite celebration and greeted by Mr Yuey's friends, this is a surprise cake for Yuey , 
they were impress with the cake , as well as its taste .. 


we are glad to complete this major project , it's a good milestone for our skills .. thank you , and Happy Birthday , Cheers and more Victory ahead :-)

Chuggin Trains 3D Cake Singapore / special NEW Theme for Chloe : FEEBACK

Here's another interesting request , request forCHUGGIN Trains ... at first , I though , I know Thomas and Percy , Chugginton ??? 


It's a new to me , which is not common in cake scene in Singapore ( I guess) ..

for the interest of it , i accepted the project and though of making it SIMPLE ... 




Boy , it is one of the most detail cake i did , not on the cake but on the 3 different trains in our 1st attempt ...




we started from the KITKAT bar your see below , this chocolate bar was wrapped in fondant , layer by layer , details by detail 




well target to make it as the real thing : Chugginton that is ... 


I can only tell you it take a look of time to make the details compared to animals figurines ... :-)
